8 Essentials To Stock up on During Coronavirus, CDC Recommends
There have been multiple instances of grocery hoarding throughout the duration of the coronavirus pandemic. It appears to be inevitable at this point, and that may cause some people anxiety. You never know when grocery hoarders will strike again, so you must be prepared.
Luckily, for those worried about their local grocery store running out of essential items, Amazon has your back. They are stocked up on all of the vital things right now!
So, what exactly are the essentials that you should have on hand? In the updated coronavirus guidelines on the CDC website, you’ll find a list of eight things everyone needs during the coronavirus pandemic.
The CDC’s site says to “ensure adequate supplies to support healthy hygiene behaviors. Supplies include soap, water, hand sanitizer containing at least 60 percent alcohol, paper towels, tissues, disinfectant wipes, masks (as feasible), and no-touch trash cans.”
It is important to read through all of the CDC’s guidelines and pay attention as new updates are published, but the eight things listed are crucial. There are still high numbers of COVID-19 cases all over the US, so now is an excellent time to stock up!
8. Face Masks
Everyone has at least one face mask they wear daily by now, but it is best to have plenty on hand. One of the best-selling face masks during the pandemic has been the AccuMed face mask. It comes in a variety of different colors, including pink.
Amazon’s website has a huge hand sanitizer section with many great options in stock right now. Purell prices are currently the lowest and have been since the start of the pandemic. There’s so much Purell in stock, why even bother with other brands?
You probably won’t have trouble finding face masks, hand sanitizer and hand soap these days, but disinfectant wipes are still scarce in stores and online. Amazon has a great disinfectant wipes section with plenty in stock right now. Plus, they will ship quickly. However, prices are a bit inflated so consider only buying them if it is urgent.
You can’t always rely on hand sanitizer to keep your hands germ-free. Hand soap is just as important! There are many great ready-to-ship options on the Amazon website right now. The CDC recommends washing your hands thoroughly with soap and warm water for at least 20 seconds.
Grocery hoarders in the US did not hesitate to snatch up paper towels from the stores at the beginning of the pandemic. However, they didn’t take nearly as many paper towels as toilet paper, which continues to be the case. Still, it is best to stock up on them, and Amazon has some good options available!
You might be surprised to see no-touch trash cans on the CDC’s list of essentials, but it is more important than you think. According to the CDC, everyone should have one in their home or any shared space where many people use the trash can.
